rolando vetri - the glass cowboy

Welcome to my glittering oasis of glass art, where every glass object tells its own story. My name is Rolando Vetri, but many know me as the "Glass Cowboy". Here, in my Glass Saloon, passion and art merge to create unique glass works that bring light and life to every room.

Rolando Vetri, also known as the "Glass Cowboy", was born on May 18, 1969 in Altötting and has had an extensive career in both the social education sector and in glass art. After completing his apprenticeship as a glass apparatus builder/glass blower in 1989 and several years as a journeyman, he completed his community service and then pursued further educational opportunities, including a technical college diploma and a university of applied sciences degree in social education. He has worked in various institutions for people with mental disabilities and has been working as an occupational therapist since June 2006, where he instructs clients to work with glass directly at the burner, which is unique in Germany and possibly also in Europe or worldwide.

My journey in the realm of glass

Since my youth, I have developed a deep connection and fascination with the material glass. Starting with an apprenticeship as a glass apparatus maker and glass blower in 1986, my journey has woven itself through various phases of life and art, always connected with the glittering thread of glass art. Every piece I create is not only an expression of technique and skill, but also a piece of my history, my discoveries and my love of craftsmanship.
